Mindful Hoops Academy Terms and Conditions
At Mindful Hoops Academy (MHA), operated by Mindful Hoops LLC, we are committed to providing youth athletes with high-quality training and mentorship in a safe, nurturing environment. These Terms and Conditions outline the policies and expectations to ensure the best possible experience for our athletes and their families. By registering for any MHA program, you agree to these terms.
1. Payment Policy
- Payments are due on the 1st or 15th of each month, depending on your selected payment schedule.
- A late payment will result in a $40 drop-in rate per session.
2. Drop-in Rate
- Drop-in sessions are available at $40 per session.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancel at least 24 hours in advance to receive a makeup class.
- Students are entitled to 1 makeup class per month.
- Makeup classes must be completed within the same month.
4. Discontinuation Policy
Notify us at least 5 days in advance if you plan to discontinue your membership, or you will be charged for the next month’s membership.
5. Public Behavior Policy
Please do not air grievances about Mindful Hoops Academy in public forums, including group chats, social media, or any other public space. All concerns should be addressed directly with MHA staff to maintain a respectful environment. Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the academy.
6. Extra Class Fee
Classes with 5 sessions in the month are subject to an additional $20 fee.
7. Refund Policy
No refunds are offered. This applies in all cases, including when a student is asked to withdraw from the program under our Improvement & Standards policy.
8. 50 Feet Policy
Parents must maintain a distance of at least 50 feet from training sessions. This helps players bond with their teammates and reduces intimidation.
Exceptions: Parents of new students during their first week are allowed to stand or sit closer.
9. Concussion Policy
Mindful Hoops Academy follows House Bill 284 for concussion management. Youth athletes showing signs of a concussion will be removed from play and evaluated by a healthcare provider. They cannot return to play without medical clearance.
10. Abuse Policy
MHA has zero tolerance for abuse or molestation of any minor participant. Any individual found violating this policy will be permanently banned from all MHA activities.
11. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect only necessary personal information and never share it without your consent. For more information, please review our full Privacy Policy.
12. Registration and Text Messages
Registration is completed online and includes agreement to these Terms and Conditions, our Risk of Injury Waiver, and our Improvement & Standards policy.
